It's hard to stand out from the crowd when more than one out of every five new college grads is a business major. The job market is crawling with business majors. It fared worse than such "impractical" college degrees as philosophy, history and American studies.ģ. When PayScale looked at starting and mid-career salaries of college graduates in dozens of college majors, business came in as the 56th best-paying college degree. If you're interested in making tons of money, here's a wake-up call: in the latest college degree salary survey from PayScale, business is NOT one of the best-paying college degrees. You won't make as much money as you think. my dad's about 6 years into the course of making a locomotive (as i am constantly reminded, its NOT a train. or the built-from scratch weigh a ton model replicas that run a wee fire on coal and steam and can actually carry people? Cos if the second.

Oh and when you say model railways, do you mean the electric run type that fit in the attic. While i would be the first to decry the reason that Mandela felt the need to fight apartheid (apartheid and racism is a terrible thing), i would also say that terrorism is just as terrible - two wrongs do not make a right, and i think its important to remember that part of Mr Mandela's history, just as it is to remember him and his acts post-prison, if nothing else, as a measure of how a man may change, and change for the better. He was involved in terrorist acts, for which he paid, and i believe that prison, and his experiences throughout his life there, explains a lot of his current views and the reason why he didnt take revenge on his release. he wasn't solely sent to prison for his views and the colour of his skin. while i'd agree with you that Nelson Mandela is an amazing man. Thanks for writing this - its always interesting to learn new stuff about peeps!! But even in retirement he still does not rest. There was not a dry eye in the house, or someone still sitting when he did that.

I will never forget during the rugby world cup in south africa, Nelson Mandela putting on the South African rugby shirt and wearing it with pride. The measure of the man is that he didn't seek revenge on those who had ruled before him, but sought to unite the country as the rainbow nation. Who spent years in prison because of his views and the colour of his skin, only to be released and to lead his country in a new dawn. How can anyone not be inspired or in awe at this man. But it is better to have them and know they are there for you. It is great to get together with them, to catch up with them to spend time with them. They are a source of comfort, of inspiration and of motivation when I need it. I am blessed with the friends that I have, both real and online. But it was mine, my passion wagon, my chick magnet (ok reality check got me to college) 2 tone brown, 4 gears, no power steering, held together with tape, string, rubber gloves and rust. Where I came out of my shell and enjoyed all that life has to offer. My secondary school, where I discovered life, fun, love and enjoyment. An amazing hobby, one I want to get back into :) I love model railways, the attention to detail, the creativity and skill behind turning an idea into something that looks, sounds and feels so real. Ok, so this is where I put my anorack on. Well, it is where my Cherisshen is, where she lives, and a state in the US I want to see, to see where she was born, where she grew up, went to school and lived her life :)

They are wonderful, two of my best friends as well as my parents. My parents are wonderful, have bought me up well, always there for me, supporting me, acting as my taxi to various sporting things. My music taste spread from there, to most genres (still a bit unsure about country music - sorry C) A friend of mine played the track "Nothing Else Matters" and I was hooked. As for me, the song that has the most meaning for me, well that would be a difficult one, but it is a classical piece, called "Ode to Joy" part of Beethovens 9th Symphony. Butterfly by Crazy Town, Billy Joel's Lullaby. Certain songs hold special meanings for me, for my Cherisshen and for us both. Music for me is a combination of emotions, moods and feelings. OK, so this should be easy right? 10 things beginning with the letter M.
